This sim, available for free download, is designed to be a discovery-based, constructionist learning experience, as students participate in scavenger hunts to document the aquatic wildlife, and contribute their own creations back into the sim for the benefit of future learners.

Re: Undersea observatory. Pre-fab sim. Free. Displayed on Ki
I was the one who originally built the components the undersea structure was made with. It is my "Tube City" construction set (a newer version of it you can see here: http://www.kitely.com/virtual-world/Pau ... Demo-World ).
I am still working on developing this system further and will be putting it into the market soon. The original version of tube city has been released free through Opensim Creations, along with a couple of other "City" building sets. The idea behind these sets is that someone can use the snap to grid feature of your viewer to quickly assemble structures like the undersea observatory from component parts.
It is great to see people using my work in education and artistic builds. If other people see these being used or are using them themselves, I'd love to hear about it .
