Great article on grid web site design!

I am no designer so won't comment on specific points she makes but I wholeheartedly agree with the main point: display and focus on what YOUR grid does or has to offer that is unique. And Kitely certainly leads the pack in great things that nobody else offers. We even have a whole thread on the topic right here: http://forums.kitely.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=219.

I know Ilan and Oren are frantically busy but they are thinking already about Kitely ads. So, it would be great to keep Maria's observations in mind when Kitely expands and things like redesign can be done. I wish I had some artistic talent to offer but I can barely draw a square. Anyway, these are some very "on point" design observations to keep in mind as our wonderful Kitely grows.

Awwwwwwww, go ahead, ya know ya wanna........... It's a great topic, one I have felt subliminally but never actually thought about before. Both Marstol and Minethere have great experience and observations. I would love to hear what you think and especially what designs you think would best express all the wonderful things Kitely has to offer.

Well, it's my bedtime....lolol

But giving it a little tired thinking...and with the caveat that I am NOT up on current coding of websites, I know nothing about php and HTML5 changed some things I am not up on.

I use to use frames a lot tho. I would maybe do a top frame of a hotlinked nicely done graphic.

And the lower part, to be showing on one page only, I might do a video that is clickable..nothing to long, in the center

and on the sides of that add some text of some kind...

Anywho...I will likely have more to say tomorrow....huh???????
