Hypertext presentation for 3D worlds: Web-walks
Virtual worlds provide a different environment for presentation and instruction. Instead of pages on a computer screen, the presenter can offer virtual objects that can hold the entire contents of the presentation. The objects can be posters presenting web pages, giving notecards, delivering audio (including voice), showing video, or--probably any multimedia presentation you can think of.

Re: Hypertext presentation for 3D worlds: Web-walks
I saw Selby give a presentation in another grid using this system. This is an ingenious use of the tools we have here in virtual worlds. There's a lot of potential there for any use case where you want to give specific information to people when they stand in a specific place.
