Best chances are with organizations who provide a specially designed platform thats very much focused on educational customers:
-easy to handle viewer for all ( no, firestorm is not easy for new ones )
-very easy to interact with educational multimedia and needs .. streaming facilities etc.. easy way to set up inworld presentations.
-easy building with ready made environments and buildings/ landscapes and simple ways to give the environment the touch of identity the company/ university or school needs
-high priority: privacy protection of all users and options for admins to control privacy settings according to the local laws
I think many grids are not able to offer this atm and certainly not SL or OpenSim who all depend on new user unfriendly viewers and ask from their users devices that are capable to handle high standars when it comes on graphics, and no options to use a more simple interface on a mobile device to use the services.
Still a long way to go ? I guess so.
