Nice write up Selby
One area with lots of potential too is new house sales. The building developers (at least here in Ireland) are spending lots of cash with their architect companies to have the house plans rendered into 3D for virtual viewings both for existing houses and houses built to order.
I viewed one with my brother recently and while I am not sure what technology was behind it, It was insanely impressive how we could look at all areas of the home from the comfort of the kitchen table.
