Hi Katniss,

Not a dumb question, not at all!
Before I started doing Youtube stuff with Storylink Radio I found it kinda confusing too.

If you Subscribe to our channel, it is kinda like bookmarking it so you can find it again easier if you want to see more stuff in the future.

It does not cost anything, and it won't start spamming you or anything like that.

However, if you WOULD like to know about new releases on our Channel, or any Youtube channel, you can also click on the Alert Bell, and then you will get a notification when we post something new.

If you like our stuff it's a great idea to click on the Alerts Bell, but even if you don't, just Subscribing to the channel really Really helps us out.

Youtube figures in our subscriber count, among many other things, when they make our videos more visible to more people.

And at different levels more features become available to us for our Channel and what we can offer to our subscribers.
