Whitechapel
Hi all...
I've been putting this world together for the last month or so, but I think it's time to allow some people to visit.
Work is still on-going, and I have tons of plans for the place, so it should keep me busy for a while... but it would be nice to get some feedback.

ohh and the theme?... should be self explanatory...
The East End of London... 1888,
Whitechapel is in lockdown,
"Leather Apron" is on the loose.
One last thing… To enjoy Whitechapel fully, please use the region default environment setting.
Thanks
Geoff

Re: Whitechapel
Great textures and beautifully observed (Geoff only ever does top quality work). Lots of dark alley ways, desolation, grimly foreboding...
The only problem I had was with miscellaneous pillars taking a while to rez/pop out. Maybe I need to change my LOD settings? Also, do you need to be a group member? I got an invite by email but none subsequently in-world.

Re: Whitechapel
Thanks for the comments and compliments Graham... I'll send a group invite again, though you don't need it to visit Whitechapel obviously... I'll keep group members up to date on the "plot" as it develops.

Re: Whitechapel
Hi Beverly
Thanks for the reply and joining the group too...
Yeah "Leather Apron" was a nickname for "Jack" at the time, coined by the local prostitutes apparently.
Thanks for visiting as well... glad you liked.
Still have tons to do... details etc, but its an enjoyable build for such a gruesome subject lol
Cheers

Re: Whitechapel
Does that pub ever open? Seemed dead quiet to me...
Anyway, distinct frisson of fear going down some of those dark alleys.

Re: Whitechapel
Sorry Graham... While "Jack" is still on the loose and roaming the streets... The four pubs in the Whitechapel area, The Ten Bells, Britannia, White Hart & The Alma, have all been "closed until further notice"... by order of the Metropolitan Police.
I'll keep you updated.
