i'm messing around with a bunch of different .oar files in the next few days for a project..
That's lovely.

Do you have Giacomo Rexen's oars? There are some really good old fashioned prim builds among them. His website is long gone though and it seems they were never added to the Outworldz colection.

most of these are from the 200+ collect at:
https://www.outworldz.com/cgi/freesculpts.plx?q=OAR-
Wow, there's a lot of interesting stuff there that is new since last I checked! Unfortunately also two huge collections of copybotted houses. I thought Fer was very careful when it comes to IP rights but it seems he slipped here.

Also, am I the only one who gets annoyed when people get the credits wrong? I mean, both Arcadia Asylum and Linda Kellie have made a lot of great stuff themselves, there's no need for anybody to attribute works by others to them.

Hi Tess!

Checked my storage and I don't have those.. which I'm surprised about!
I do remember seeing a great many things in various places from Rexen though.
Would love to get these OARs yes, but I suspect they are too big for regular email.
Was gonna give you access to one of my google drives, but it's being persnickety at the moment..
I can probably create an folder on my local NAS and let you send there if you like, though upload time would probably be abysmal...
Will cogitate on another transfer method, just a little SFTP somewhere or something, or if someone else has a more gooder idea!

You're right, of course, all those links were broked!
If anyone wants to see the last iteration of the Craftworld site though, here it is:
(files of course not there, but fun for nostalgia)

I find that the free option available at http://www.mediafire.com/ is excellent for transfers of this type.

They may be. The biggest is 25.4 MB.

Oh, it seems I only have one of the four on that list, although it may be just different names. The ten Rexen oars I have are:
  • Atlantide
  • Dracula (this may be the one named medievale on the Craftworld)
  • Eldorado
  • Megaregion (unfinished)
  • Thats
  • Tiky
  • Vampiria (possibly the same as castelli
  • 4elementi
  • araba
  • paese
Come to think of it, some of the oars from tgib.co.uk/Opensim Creations may also deserve attention. Much of the content from those twin websiates may be gone for good though.

It was already gone by the time I started looking assets online so I never saw it. But the site owner also had a blog where he posted links to some of the content there. Many of the links were broken but I managed to downlaod enough to get an idea of what I missed.
