Rental Boxes Anywhere ???

Hi, being a long experienced SL User and Creator, Im terribly happy to be able to use Kitely now

But a cornerstone for everyone´s business are Rental Boxes

Do they exist ??? Where ???

I have a free rental script someplace...just to click and show someone is using it, and the time can be modified for them to renew.

Or do you mean "for pay" ones? if so, can't help ya there other than to suggest DD or get someone who does them elsewhere to come in Kitely.

I'm planning to rent out some apartments and land parcels on my main world to help cover my expenses in Kitely. Since I'd prefer to be paid in US Dollars I will bill my tenants directly with "subscriptions" through PayPal. So my plan was not to even bother with "rental boxes" in the usual SL sense of the term. I will need to keep my own rental records, but since I doubt I'll ever have more 10-12 tenants at a time that shouldn't be too difficult.

Obviously my proposed solution won't work for everyone, but I thought I'd throw it out there as something to be considered by smaller landlords.

There is a guy who does go around to several OS grids, named Steelman Gothly who has them, and other such scripted things, if anyone wishes to point him to Kitely.

Kitely will develop and we are making history and I have a 4 Sims resort for home rental and free community events - Coral Homes

The intent is to be paid by tenants on a much easier way - Paypal system is not practical because we always have to check schedules and remind people, etc

Another issue an Inworld friend reminded me is that Kitely worlds go offline when nobody is there so maybe rental boxes can't keep up and reset, although there is maybe a way for them to sync to Kitely timeframe when we visit our world and update time tracking

Parcel access payment could be cool but I think that does not work for home renting because any intruder can also pay and come in to invade tenants privacy and when the tenant is not loged others may think they can take the home and that brings conflicts

Guess the best way is to sell the land for a given time but that also needs schedules tracking and reminding tenants, but at least they get their privacy, yet another problem is the big amount of prime any small area takes from the region when somebody buys it

If you urgently need rental boxes, throw some money at me with a list of requirements

There is the ability to receive real money (paypal, etc) for rental, I know how to achieve it, it just needs fully developing from idea/plan to product
(The idea is viable, but there is one technical issue that needs solving)
