Identifying Objects that will go on the OARs

Post by Carlos Loff »

Hi, Im building a huge world from scratch and want to make sure I can export every single object on my OARs

So far I managed to buy some Export items at the Kitely Market and many of the content I will build it myself

But I have lots of Inworld goodies that would be suitable right now to make my world diverse and more interactive and fun - How do I know previously they will be saved on my regular OAR savings to use inside Kitely ???

Although not ideal, I don't mind if the OARs are only suitable for Kitely so being Export to Hypergrid is not a must on my question

Is the simple fact that they are Copy/Modify/Transfer enough or I have to check somehow if they are Export ???

The easiest way of checking this that I know of is to set up a test region/world and systematically rez all the items you would like to use. Then save the OAR and associated export report; the report will tell you which items cannot be exported and why.

Hi Dot, that would be the way leaving no doubts but besides spending money each time I wanted to check an object it is also like having to drive a car around the block just to check if it has its tires on

There must be another way, more direct, I can be building Inworld and in 30 minutes have 10 objects to check, not practical on your way, but of course thank you for your feedback, is great when we see people is around to help

Cheers

Hi Carlos,

If you're the creator of the items and they don't contain any components that are non-exportable then the items you just created should be exportable. The logic is defined here:
