“Welcome To "Heresy of The Intimate."

The odd title of my world was born in an on going [sic] prose story that I am writing and publishing as posts on "Digital Rabbit Hole" The stories are called "The Colored Dreams and a full list in order may be found on my blog at

http://karimahoisan.wordpress.com.

I am not a builder but a poet, and yet everything here I either built myself, or was the lucky recipient from others on Kitely who who have generously offered their content free of charge. I have imported nothing and have decided to try to capture some feelings of the verses and dreams in my stories. I hope you enjoy discovering my world, and there are some poems scattered over the sim, very nice peaceful spots to be found, as well as uneasiness and dangers.
It is an ungoing [sic] labor of love...

I have included many sounds as part of the experience, so make sure yours is turned on and up, to submerse yourself in the world. Midnight is preferred for Evironmental [sic] Settings. It is especially good in the desert and Tea House.
Enjoy all of it!

In peace,

Karima”

Located @ http://www.kitely.com/virtual-world/Kar ... e-Intimate & it is a FREE World.

Upon landing there is what appears to be a Crystal Ball that includes the notecard supplied by Karima. Some scary flexi monsters guard the area WATCH OUT!!! Setting to midnight is recommended, and I agree.

Very pretty place to land. It does not say how to proceed, so I take the path of least resistance and set out upon the slightly glowing semi-transparent path over the water into the interior of the region. Going west, I pause to enjoy the various plantings and other sights.

(¸¸.•´ ¯¨•.¸¸`•** (•.•) **•´ ¸¸.•¨¯`•.¸¸)

I arrive at the end of the path, roughly in the center of the region and obtain a notecard. It allows me the pleasure of seeing this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVZfmccwgnc Karima Hoisan – Whale Song…hauntingly beautiful, with music and voice narration, she leads us on a journey of discovery. SAVE THE WHALES SAVE THE WHALES SAVE THE WHALES!! I leave a comment with my other google name-)) [and she even answers me, right away… OMG!!]

There is a poem in the notecard, but I will not tell of it, you must come see for yourself.

I proceed south as I follow this story. Well lit markers guide me easily, for which I appreciate.

Enjoy following this to see the full story-)) http://karimahoisan.wordpress.com/2011/ ... -intimate/

I follow the light posts, reading, learning, trying to grasp the Artist’s vision. I find a relaxing area in the water.

I follow a Mountain path to a wonderful overlook tented area and rest, looking out over the lands.

Hidden places of mystery await the adventurous explorer. Wonderful ambient sounds throughout and imaginative settings are all here-))

I come upon a beautifully textured building that houses a Market with upstairs seating areas, quite pretty.

[continued]

Absolutely beautiful-))
Heresy4_004.jpg
As I continue my journey I come across a field of Art and light posts with poems.

If it were my World, though I am a believer in allowing ppl to have choice and options as much as possible, this world is very immersive, full of ambient sounds and a multitude of terrains. So I would cause it to be not flyable.
I am also fully aware I cannot begin to touch upon, with my mere uneducated words, the vision of this Artist. I think that each person must visit, walk the land & listen to the sounds, read all that one can, and understand it, each to their own. Even still, it is obvious to me Karima has passion, a wonderful soft soul, and has gone to some effort to express herself. I appreciate this very much-))

---warm regard, Karima, & Thank you-))

Thank you MInethere for taking the time to visit my world "Heresy of the Intimate" It was the first world I built on Kitely in their beta testing period, and truly,I had no idea what I was doing, just consumed with the excitement and passion to realize that on Kitely I could make my poems come alive, through sight, sound, multi-media imagery and ambiance. I appreciate your comments and perceptions, and see you took your time to discover it all. The only reason for building worlds such as mine, is to share them, and hopefully entertain, and delight those intrepid visitors from other worlds who land on this grid. Your thoughtful comments are much appreciated, and yes I do agree that walking Is the best way to discover Heresy, but I have been reluctant to put a no-fly on it, as some people just don't have the time to traverse it all on foot. Thank you again and hope to see you on any or all of my other worlds soon.
Kind regards and peace,
Karima

Meh. That's nice of you Minethere but obviously the interest just isn't there, and this will be my last contest effort. Operator error on my part, LOL.

Added: I really wish I hadn't left it open ended with the minimum participants too. I don't have the attention span to monitor this thing if it goes much longer than a month.
