WEEKLY STORIES REVIEW – May Week 1 & 2

Post by Shandon Loring »

Seanchai Library presented our first story session in Kitely on Friday May 2nd. Shandon and Caledonia presented ‘Ghost Stories at the Fire Circle’. Wonderful attendance! Much fun had by all, and DANCING! Thank you everyone that came and listened, explored, and danced!! (and even managed to avoid the 6-legged llamas)

Friday May 9th Shandon presented ‘Ghostly Pirate Tales’ aboard the ghostly pirate ship. Friends from Second Life and Kitely alike in attendance in person, and the show was simulcast via Livestream to the Seanchai Library in Second Life.

Sunday May 11th Shandon presented ‘Lighthouse Horror Tales’ on the cliffs at lighthouse point. Again, nice attendance, and some midshow drop-ins! (and some especially exhilarating exits from the seating!)

Thursday May 8th 'Cerberus' was presented by Shandon in SL and simulcast to the Seanchai Library in Kitely.

Now lest you think Seanchai Library presents only ghost stories, let me assure you the line up includes literature of all kinds… the mantra is ‘bringing stories to life in your virtual life’. You can check out the past six years of presentations by browsing our blog.

So, for May Q1 & Q2, attendance and reception has been grand, and the Seanchai Library is excited and very encouraged to continue our program in Kitely. We’re still working out the details and smoothing the road.. so the Grand Opening is a little ways off yet. But we will continue presenting stories.

We’d love for you to drop by and explore when you can, to Like us on FaceBook, and Plus+ us on Google+, and especially come hear literature presented in live voice by our storytellers. Because the most important thing a storyteller needs, besides a good story to tell.. is YOU! The audience! We welcome and encourage your input and your reviews of our stories and storytellers, as well as our venues.

Thank you to the Kitely Community for the warm welcome!

See you this Friday &/or Sunday hopefully!!
