Events and Paid Ad Analytics

As a writer, I've had very little luck with Facebook ads. There's pretty strong rumors that Facebook also uses paid shills to create views, meaning your ads really aren't reaching the people you would want. Creating an account and posting an event might work better, I don't know. I know a lot of SL people have accounts for their avatars.

Strangely enough, I have had much better success with posting on reddit. Doesn't cost a thing. I don't know where the proper place to put it would be for virtual worlds. Really haven't looked that up. But for writing, I get both sales and long-term blog readers from posting on reddit.

People tell me Avatar Social Network is pretty active, but I just wasn't interested in most of it. Might go back to it.
