3:00 PM PST WIND SURFING LESSONS
Practice session with windsurfers before the contest at 3 PM. My windsurfers are almost as challenging to sail as an RL board! While sailing you must constantly trim the sail to match the wind direction, your heading and speed. Tacking is necessary to move up-wind. If you want to do well in the contest, you would be advised to show up for lessons first. This is best done in voice. You can also contact me to arrange private sailing lessons (free!) at other times and places.

4:00 PM PST WIND SURFING
Come try out your skill on this exciting fast paced sport in-world. Zoom back and forth on a windsurfing board, jumping off the backs of waves or shooting the tube! Race gates will be used to time how fast you can sail across the cove and back (to the nearest 100th of a second). You can run the course again to try to improve your time on the race status board. No points are given for grabbing big air of the back of a wave, but you can earn bragging rights. Windsurfers provided. The race gates will be open from 6 PM until 7 PM when the results are frozen. Come by early to get free sailing lessons so you will be ready for the contest.
