If you have never experienced Ceci Dover in concert, you are missing out. Hot tunes from one of the finest voices in the metaverse are not to be missed!

9:00 AM PST History Month Event: SINGING THE HOURS
Join Ghaelen D'Lareh for an hour long experience that includes a walk through a monastery garden, a short talk about the canonical hours, and a broadcast of plainchant (Gregorian Chant) in the nun's church. Plainchant was a major component of the spiritual work in Medieval Christian Monasteries. Held in Monastica Monacharum (women's monastery) in De Landria Rising.

1:00 PM PST Metaverse Tour
Every Satuday at 1pm PT the Metaverse Tour sets out to explore OpenSim. We investigate a Kitely world or two and then hypergrid out to the big wide Metaverse. Everyone is welcome from all grids. Come meet up with a nice group of folks and see some new places that just might amaze you. We meet at the Kitely Welcome Center. Join us!

2:30 PM PST FREDA IN PROGRESS at Babble Café
Freda Frostbite is the author, playwright, and poet, Stephanie Mesler. Join her for readings of her works in progress. This week, there will be a poem or two and selcections from her fantasy, Ermengarde The Expansive And The Rhinolope Rebellion.

3:30 PM PST WIND SURFER COMPETITION
KC$3000 to the person who can beat my time on the windsurfer course. (a USD$10.00 value!)
Come try out your skill on this exciting fast paced sport in-world. Zoom back and forth on a windsurfing board, jumping off the backs of waves or shooting the tube! Race gates will be used to time how fast you can sail across the cove and back (to the nearest 100th of a second). You can run the course again to try to improve your time on the race status board. No points are given for grabbing big air of the back of a wave, but you can earn bragging rights. Windsurfers provided. The race gates will be open from 3:30 until 4:30 PM when the results are frozen. Contact Kayaker Magic and arrange a time and place for free sailing lessons.
