The monthly gathering of the Devokan Storytellers group takes place on Kitely grid this Sunday, 7 July 2013, at 15:00 UTC in the world of Dragon's Teeth. (4pm UK Time...11am Eastern US Time...8am Pacific US Time)

The gathering gives RP storytellers, builders and writers of the Myst/Uru genre an opportunity to share ideas, information, plans and concerns about their stories, characters, builds and virtual worlds. We gather on the first Sunday of each month. RPers, writers, builders of stories from other genre are invited as well.

Kitely users please note, attendance is free, you will not be charged minutes. For this we thank our gracious host, Paislee Myrtle. Try to arrive early or stay late to enjoy exploring Paislee's sim.

Notes from 7 July Storytellers Gathering

New Storylines

Danko gave an overview of his latest Devokan storyline, The Towers. He has published two recent stories on this subject, picking up on his first mention of these mysterious towers (which appear in a few Devokan Ages) in story last December. He has two more stories on this subject which will be published in the next few days. *

Paislee presented a new storyline she is building. The centerpiece of the story is Dragons and their interactions with humans. The multi-layered story uses Music as a central element. *

Dot told the group of a newcomer to the Devokan community, Merle, who has been researching and has now started publishing a new storyline.

New Category on The Devokan Trust forums

A discussion of the need for an active online home for all Devokan storytellers to come together "in character" in one place led to a consensus that a new subforum on The Devokan Trust forums be created called Ages of Devokan. Dot said she would add or reorganize subforums and categories for OOC discussions about stories to take place as well.

New Members Welcomed

Vega Wright and Daniel Hoffman were welcomed to the Devokan community. Each told a bit of their writing/RP/virtual world background and took part in the topics discussed.
