Educational worlds

Post by Graham Mills »

There are many educators with regions on Kitely. Some of these worlds are private, i.e. access is limited to the class by group membership, but here are some that are currently accessible: Many other regions are identified as educational by search: http://www.kitely.com/#!search/ps=2

If you have any to share, please add them here.

Hi Graham,

Thanks for the list.

The Learn English Network has an ESL world on Kitely. We will be rolling out some new features over the coming months, but our main emphasis as ever is on conversation. Currently we have a Winter vocabulary set up, and are working on Spring. :)

It's free to visit and we will be running free ESL sessions there as of next week. We will hopefully be visiting some of the other education areas in our weekly VW adventures tour every Friday morning. So far we have only done this using Second Life, but there's a whole new universe out there thanks to Open Sim. :)

Here's our area: http://www.kitely.com/virtual-world/You ... rk-Academy - It's occasionally closed for in-world volunteer meetings (about once a month). The rest of the time it's open.
