OLDS MOOC

Post by Graham Mills »

This is a project-based MOOC. I am considering building a session/sim for a taster session for Masters students on Kitely. The theme is "Collaborative Working in Virtual Worlds". If anyone is interested in registering and joining me, it is a good opportunity to promote OpenSim and see what Learning Design has to offer in this context. Of course, you can implement your own project solution if this topic doesn't appeal.

Details on the MOOC/registration: https://sites.google.com/a/olds.ac.uk/oldsmooc/

VWBPE is one of the largest metaverse education conferences and they seem to be branching out even further this year. Is there any interest in a Kitely proposal of some kind? The Call for Proposals comes out on 6th May so there's time to ponder. More info here:

September 7-8th OpenSim Community Conference 2013 (including Research and Education track): http://conference.opensimulator.org

Well, no harm posting about it on the General Discussion board maybe? Research and Education is just one of half-a-dozen themes.
