Just a quick note to let everyone know that we're working to setup the mystery again and to leave it up. More details coming in a few days.

Np, Dot. We accomplished what we set out to do, and took a bit of time to assess things. That included the things you and others had said. :)
Now its time to take the next steps. We're thinking that this mystery would make a good "first run" for people to get used to how things work.

~ Here We Go Again ~

We are relaunching the murder mystery that we ran in October.

While we stuck to our plans, we also listened to you and your desire to keep it running. And so we are, though with a couple of changes, ready to get rolling once again.

First, we recommend that you read "the news". All good detectives keep up with current events, so we've used that to give you some backstory. You will find this in the General Discussions forum at http://www.kitely.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=601 . The thread's title has been changed from "Murder, Inc's First Event" to "Virtually Newsworthy News". That is so we can keep to one thread for future mysteries.

From that thread, you will know where the crime scene is, so you can go there and look around. However, you won't be able to do anything until you are 'officially' made a detective. For that, you need to go to the Falling Sky Detective Agency, which is located at Computer Plaza http://www.kitely.com/virtual-world/Dun ... uter-Plaza

Once you are at Falling Sky, tell them that you are there to help with solving the Sliser Murder. You will receive your Badge and then you can ask for your first assignment. Just click on the NPC to carry on from there.

There's some new scripting and related tech involved, so it is truly important that you go through the tutorial/introduction mission. Once you complete the training, its very important that you read the case file so that you gain additional information and know what it takes to succeed.

If you find any bugs or other issues, please report them here.
