WANTED: Tabby Cat For Holding

Post by Freda Frostbite »

Does anyone know where to find a Tabby Cat for holding and, possibly, petting? This is needed for a prop in an illustration. I know such a thing exists in SL and I have seen a few (not very realistic) cats in OS. Anyone have or know where to get such a thing? TIA

The "Noah" region on the Craft Grid has many animals including cats. Might find the right one there.

nice idea :) this seemed like a good place to start to try learn some n00b blender animation skills...

I found a spare cat model or two over here http://tf3dm.com/3d-models/cat

I spent many hours learning the basics of rigging and animation keyframes based on some over-simple bones in the leg (incl vertex weights done manually since blender fails if you don't make a fairly full rig i think...), and I made a very short test anim motion here. I didn't realise that making quality anim cycles took so much patience and care! I've had enough for today but look forward to trying out some more soon...
