OAR content Question

Post by Gregg Legendary »

I brought in my old IWZ OAR to try and recover many of my creations. they look great but did not bring textures or sculpt maps to my inventory.
Will these creations retain their shape sizes and what seems to be hard coded textures if i sell them on the market place?

What happens if you make a copy of the items inworld and take them into inventory? Does that help?

The other thing you could try on your computer is to change the suffix of the OAR file to .tar.gz and then unzip the file. You might find copies of the textures in the unzipped folder.

Hi Gregg,

Have you cleared your viewer cache and viewer inventory cache before testing?

i changed the extension and the textures are in there but they have numbers not names
The numbers are the texture UUIDs. If necessary, on your computer change the numbers back to names then re-upload and re-apply the textures to your meshes inworld.
