Default permissions

The "Set Default Upload Permissions" menu option doesn't seem to work. I've set them, but when I upload textures into Kitely they don't have the requested permissions.

I'm using the latest Firestorm Viewer (Firestorm 4.4.2 (34167))

Yes, that looks like it is exactly the problem. I thought it was probably on the server side. I guess I'll have to wait until it gets fixed in OpenSim (unless the Kitely devs manage to fix it first!)

Hi everyone,

We've updated Kitely today with a fix to this problem:

1. The default permissions that you select in the viewer are now applied to assets that you upload (e.g., textures).
2. In addition, the default Object permissions that you selected are now applied whenever you create new prims in-world.
