Stair Steps

I've just noticed..
In SL my avi can walk up steps that .5 meters in height, here in Kitely it appears steps need to be no more than .33 meters.
Is that an OpenSim thing, or am I doing something else weird?

It's an OpenSim thing.

The workround is to use invisible prim ramps.

aye. yah i figured. was hoping there was a magic button somewhere.
but really, 1/2 a meter is an awfully big step, .33 meters is more realistic, even .25.
