Media on Prim not working after I logout and back in

Post by Lunk Portal »

Hey everyone, not sure what is happening here.

I put media on a prim (it's an RSS feed from my website) and it works perfectly when I made it. If I log out and back in the media face is the wood texture instead of the media. I select the face and the web address is still there. I choose it again and it works?

I checked my browser setting (Latest Firestorm) and the media settings are on.

If I touch the screen it loads though.

How do I get it to auto-load for visitors without them having to touch it? It seems like media on a prim would auto-play? Maybe there is a script or something I can throw in it to make it work?

Thanks

Autoplay is a setting in the viewer. You can't change it on other people's viewers. Firestorm defaults to autoplay off. People don't know to change it. I put a sign on my MOP posters that tells people to click on the sign.

Here is an article I wrote on the matter:

Maybe i will post another article.

Right, I do understand that. But I have it set to "on" and it isn't auto-playing when I log back in. I have to click on it.
