Extend Nearby Chat

Is there support for and any scripts for extending nearby chat to more than 20m?
No personal experience but it would help to know what exactly you are looking for, e.g. sim-wide or shout-distance (100 m). My guess is that most LSL chat relay scripts should work and there are several out there, e.g. https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Chat_Relay
An attachment-based system should work with llShout (albeit avatars within 20 m would see an echo) or llRegionSay could be used to relay local chat to either repeater prims to generate local chat using llSay (or llShout) or attachments using llOwnerSay.
