Free Animations
Recently while building some furniture I needed a swimming animation. After a search for the right animation I ran across Animstreet. This is a former pay site that has now released over a thousand BVH files. If you register you have access to their very large database. I tried the beta of their software with a copy of AviSitter I bought in Kitely Marketplace and it works very well. The link to Animstreet is below. Happy Animating.

Chris
Avsitter is open source but since someone did the legwork I felt they should get a few bucks for it (as well as the donation). It saved me some time and worked perfectly out of the box. Now if I would just scroll to the end of my chat log before cutting and pasting....

Re: Free Animations
Hai!
Okay, Animstreet has vanished.
Does somebody have a backup of their files?
++++ EDIT ++++
https://web.archive.org/web/20191204233 ... ly-release
Praise be to Archive.Org!
I'm grabbing the archives at this time, and the first 2 look good. Weirdly, Firestorm starts uploading the .bvh file and then complains that the format is neither BMP nor PNG or JPG or ANIM...
Anyway, I'm a grabby shork.
++++ END EDIT ++++
Or are that the files found on outworldz?
Because once the Shork Group releases the lions into the wild, we will need a bunch of poses and animations to equip furniture and devices we are queueing up.
We already managed to import low poly asset sets from itch io, as their licenses allow us to deploy them under any other license as long as we don't just redistribute the original pack - which we don't plan to.
And thats what we will need that stuff for.
Nomnom!

Re: Free Animations
you could look at the way back machine at the following link, but I suspect the underlying files won’t be there. I can’t check that from my mobile device right now. Probably fruitless, but you could check…

They are there =)
I'm grabbing them as I write.
Firestorm behaves weirdly, though, as it tells me, after starting to upload the .bvh file, that its not jpg, bmp, png or anim.
Is that a bug in Firestorm?
