Riff Wav Format

I've tried using some simple .WAV files here that I've used in other worlds. When I attempted an upload here I got a message stating they were not in Riff Wav format. Is there a recommended program for converting files to this format?

I don't really know the answer, but the programs I use most for audio editing and file conversion are Audacity and Format Factory.
The only problems I've had with uploading audio files have been if they're longer than 10 seconds, or the bit rate is too high, higher than 44100 Hz I think.

Audacity is at http://audacityteam.org/

and

Format Factory is at http://www.pcfreetime.com/

yes it is file format 44100 (project rate HZ), WAV (Microsoft) signed 16 bit PCM - type file

I only use audacity/

Also make sure and use export for saving the file. Doubly make sure it is under 10 seconds.

Thanks right now all the files I need are under the ten second margin. Mostly things around the homes I'm working on and environmentals for the world I'm trying to design. Audacity here I come.
