Greetings!
I have my own sounds inside .oxp files and that's the way I uploaded them into Kitely. It's been so long since I had the original .wav files on my pc and I'd like to download them for safekeeping. These are my own files, not some that another person made. I don't know how to download them to my computer though. Is there a way?
Thanks in advance!
Koshari

I don't think you can. Only mesh can be exported to your computer.

Hi Koshari,
You can add the sound object to a uniquely labeled box, rez it in your world and export the world to an OAR file. If you then open the OAR file and read the XMLs it contains you'll be able to figure out which asset that is included in the OAR file belongs to the object that is contained in the box and from that you'll be able to get to the relevant asset stored in the OAR file. It will, however, be stored in whatever file format OpenSim stored your sound object.

Thanks, Kim and Ilan. Too bad there isn't an easier way.
