Re: OPQ General Purpose Mesh Shapes
Two new mesh shapes. I'm not sure what I should call these but they look cool, don't they?

Re: OPQ Capsules and Semicapsules
In geometry a capsule is defined as a cylinder capped with two hemispheres. This is a shape that should have been included in the prim system but it isn't so we have to do them as mesh instead. (You can of course make one from three prims but there will always be visible seams between the parts so it's not a good solution.)
A semicapsule is, well I made that name up myself. If you know of an official name for a cylinder capped with only one hemisphere, let me know. https://www.kitely.com/market/product/75205561

Full perm 2-8 Flattened Mesh Cubes in a row - OPQ Cube Row Collection 2
Sorry about the poor picture, I couldn't really think of a good way to present this set of meshes.
The set includes eight different meshes, 2-8 flattened cubes in a row and a single matching cube. They were originally made as tree guards but they should have other uses too so I'm listing them as "general purpose meshes.
The cubes are UV mapped as a single face with the sides extending outwards from the top. The bottoms are open.

Re: OPQ General Purpose Mesh Shapes
Two cylinders that have seen better days.
OPQ Twisted Cylinder F3 PSP 01 is still recognisable as a cylinder and has the same UV mapping as a prim.
OPQ Twisted Cylinder F1 SSS 01 is far more distorted and has a UV map with only one face.

Re: OPQ General Purpose Mesh Shapes
Time for an update of my Kitely Market store!
OPQ Sloping Cube Collection
I needed a pair of cubes sloping in two directions for some embankment walls and realized it's not possible to get that shape from prims. So here they are as meshes. The two objects in the current collection mirror each other. The width at the top is three quarters of the width at the bottom and the height at one end is a quarter of the height at the other. I may add variants with other proportions to the collection later, we'll see. https://www.kitely.com/market/product/7 ... SlopeCubes
---
OPQ Twisted Cube Row 2-4 PSP UV9 01
Originally made as a pair of wood posts for a pier, this mesh should have several other uses too.
The top and bottom faces have flat normals, the other sides smooth ones. The UV map is aplit into three individually texturable faces, one for the tops and bottoms, one for the fronts and backs and one for the sides. Each side takes up a quarter of the UV map. https://www.kitely.com/market/product/7 ... UV9-01-CMT

Re: OPQ General Purpose Mesh Shapes
These two aren't actually new, I just forgot to mention them here until now.
OPQ Mesh Panel Collection
As many separate faces as possible for a mesh, all neatly organized in one or two roads. In addition to the obvious use as display panels, the meshes can also be used as terrain since they are fully walkable. https://www.kitely.com/market/product/7 ... nel-Collec
---
OPQ Bent Panel Collection
It's actually just one panel (for now at least) but it comes in two different mesh resolution with 12 and 24 tris. These were originally made as wall displays for my Heater Shield textures but I've also found them useful for roads, climbing plants and various decals. I'm sure they have other uses too. https://www.kitely.com/market/product/7 ... l-Collecti

OPQ Mesh Sheet Collection
A random collection flat mesh sheets I've gathered through the years. https://www.kitely.com/market/product/7 ... t-Collecti
---
OPQ Buckled Sheet Collection
Three heavily distorted mesh sheets, each in three variants: single sided with simple physics, single sided with detailed physics and double sided with simple physics. Also two perfectly flat sheets specially made for water surfaces. https://www.kitely.com/market/product/7 ... kled-Sheet

OPQ Pointed Plank Collection
I've called these two meshes "pointed planks" because that's what they started their lives as but they are really multi-purpose shapes that should have many other uses as well. https://www.kitely.com/market/product/7 ... -Collectio

Re: OPQ General Purpose Mesh Shapes
OPQ Steel Beams 01
A set of the most common steel profiles, I, L, U and T. The set also includes a script you can add to one of your prims to turn it into a matching flatbeam with your name as the creator. https://www.kitely.com/market/product/7 ... l-Beams-01
---
OPQ Random Beam Collection
Two meshes that started as parts of two of my buidings. One is a curved steel profile originally part of an elaborate roof design, The other was originally a cornice for a house. The second one comes in two variants, with closed and open ends.
This is an open set, that is I may or may not add more items to it. If I do, customers on the Kitely grid will receive a free update. https://www.kitely.com/market/product/7 ... Collection
