cant get my paypal verifyed?

I have been trying to get my paypal verified so I can accept usd in the market place.

I keep getting this error=

An error occurred when we checked this account with PayPal.

Please make sure that the Email, First Name and Last Name match the information in your PayPal account (and not your Kitely account).

I checked paypal and the info I put in the kitely sight is exactly the same.

any sugestions?

Hi Yoyo,

You must make sure that the information you provide is an exact match with what you have set for your PayPal account (copy paste it if need be). If the information is the same then please wait a few hours and try again.

I waited some time and tried again.
I copy and paisted directly from paypal.
My paypal account is in good standing and up to date, I use it all the time.
I'm still getting the same error.

We looked at the server logs to see what response PayPal is sending us and we found it was very uninformative. We've therefore contacted them to try to get additional information about why your credentials are failing this query while other Kitely Market merchants have completed this step successfully during the same time. We'll let you know once they get back to us with an answer.

Hi Yoyo,

We received a reply from PayPal. The Last Name you entered in the Kitely dialog is different from the one you supplied in your PayPal account (you mistyped the order of the "o" and the "r").

Please make sure to enter the name exactly as you set it up n PayPal otherwise the information won't match.

That was very helpful, apparently for the last 10 years my paypal name had a type-o in it and I never noticed.
I submitted to have it changed, but as you cant change your name unless your marital status changes it may not happen.
I f it does get changed, will I have to reenter it in to kitley?

Yes you will, but if the new info matches what you have set in PayPal then the process should complete very quickly and with no issues.
