I finally got Ilan Tochner to let me have a little place on the Kitely Plaza but I have to actually do some work for it. I have been selling sound files to folx via some forums advertising I did.

I was not all that keen on doing a shop for sounds but I wanted a presence at the Plaza...so, here I am. I have been doing sounds for some time actually but it is more like work than terraforming is to me...lol

Anywho, you can pop into the Plaza here:

I sell them for 50 KCs and the only reason I sell anything in Kitely for KCs is so I can buy stuffs from folx on the Market when it goes Live.

I even gotz a fancy smancy script to play them when you touch the prims. I am putting various ambient and animal sounds in and I can do voice sounds saying any 10 second message you want, also.

I only got a few in so far and will finish up over the next few days.

..does the babbling brook babble beyond belief ? Think you might need to add a timer to stop it

Yea, I am going to add my own welcome sound as i get the shop finished up-))

i dont know how to do timers but they all stopped for me once they played one time after i touched them....it may be tho that i need to box the sound loop script in them seperately....i think i will just do a box for the scripts to copy

i had turned the loop off and reset and it all seemed to work for me but ty for the feedback and i will get in later and work on that-))

this should happily stop a looped sound after 30 seconds. You could just play the sound instead of looping it I guess..

Ok, got things settled...the continuous sounds had to do with user error....lol

Anywho, I set out some nice freebies @ the shop compliments of various people who allow me to do such things. So click on things and have a blast.

Free scripts on the floor might be useful.

It all 'sounds' very good Miney. Went in to the shop and bought a few sounds. It was a good chance to explore a bit more of the Plaza too. Is it just me or is the plaza a bit laggy? I'm guessing it doesn't get the auto-restarts nearly as often as regular regions?
