The original announcement warns that physics may be borked on grids other than OSG and that seems to be the case as you discovered. Incidentally, I also tried the Lumiya viewer on the Nexus 7 (2012) and, after a wait for texture download, it worked surprisingly well. Not as good as the Android app, of course, but good enough for explore-by-camming. The OSG announcement (for completeness and to identify the oar creator):

Minethere Always wrote:Currently making the rounds in the Meta is an awesome Mesh Castle OAR.

I decided to get it and upload it to my Kitely Region.

Feel free to pop on over and check it out. My region is now rated adult.

And you can get the OAR for yourself here:

http://opensimcity.org/

And look on the left side for the downloads.

[on checking it out, using Astra, I had some issues navigating this...not sure why..in any case, it is cool to fly it]

Castle is lovely and would love to DL and play with it, but what's with opensim city logins? I have yet to be able to log in successfully there. Yes, I read the tut.

I got my copy from the original site as per the OSG announcement -- just make sure you use the lower (small) button.

ah, yes, ty for that osg link, I do recall some discussion about this but I was not aware Cute brought it in originally, as she says.

I read their forums but not minutely or very often.

In any case, if there are issues between Kitely and OSG it may have to do with Kitely still using 74...I don't pretend to know about all that stuff...lol

The build looks cool tho and is a nice addition to anyones OARs folder-))

Not even sure how long I will leave it up here, really, but I wanted to share it since it came before my eyes via opensimcity.org...

yea, Ada, as many know OSC has login issues...I figured out how to get to it pretty easily but it is often not a straight login still for me.

Graham points to the other source tho-))

Coochiemudlo is an Australian Island I just completed for a customer.

He gave me permission to sell it to the public.

You can buy it here http://opensimcity.org/minethere for 50 USD

I put the 7 RAW terrains in this one zipfile with a legend photo and a real life photo.

The creation is not intended to be exact but it is a close approximation. Tons of options with this Island.

If a buyer has problems with the file simply let me know and I can send them individually.

I am currently working on projects depicting real places in the World. If you have something in mind please contact me and we can discuss it. I do offer discounts from my normal 10 USD per RAW for Multi-region terrains. I can create up to 16 contiguous regions, currently.

These will NOT be exact replicas and will be created with the understanding that virtual world terrains have to be modified in order to work properly...and as well, I like adding my own artistic license to them-))

Lütje Hörn is an Island in the Frisians off the coast of Germany. Unincorporated but administered by the Wadden Sea National Parks it can only be visited with permission.

Due to it's location it moves and the flood-free areas change, making it an Island that if you do not get it now, it may be someplace else, tomorrow.

Add some birds and your own ground textures and a little beach shack and live in complete privacy.

Lütje Hörn, for the private person....speaking German is not required though it may come in handy.

[prims, sky settings, ground textures not included...artistic licence taken in the creation and due to the exigencies of terraforming this is not to be considered the exact representation]

get it here for a mere 10 bucks [that's USD]
