Hi guys,

Can I find some help

1) uploading Terrain from Google Earth SketchUp into a VarRegion (Large)

and

2) Building out some dome buildings?

I can pay in KC or ???

I do indeed now have that landscape at 8km sq space centered at the Coordinates you posted, and can provide that as a mesh with a single texture as is the style I do other locations. I can also do Raw files, but only for single sims at this time. If you have a specific shape done from Google earth, I can apply the textures as you see in my other landscapes.

I know that is not exactly what you asked for but that is what I am able to do. I did some Geodesic Domes years ago in SL but not as complex as what you are showing in the link. If you have 3d files I could help out some but any description that complex would just about be such a 3d build as that description.

On Edit- At 256x256m full sim size an 8 KM location is about 30:1 so a 30meter (100') dome would be one meter on the sim. The data set I have calls for an 8km minimum scale, and each Elevation mark (as a shade of gray) represents either 10 or 30m difference in elevation. Blended it works at the scale intended but cutting it up into smaller parts (like zooming into a photo till you see only pixels) leads to so much less detail per each, that it is not a solution.

I've done a number of dome buildings over the years, in SL and here (you can see the latest in Naboo at present, shortly to be moved to the SLexit region in the offing).
