Wonderful post, I love Nouveau too, there are just not enough hours in the day to make all the dresses that should be made!

Thanks Viadetta, I agree that so many of these should be made :)

Chris, I'm so glad you were inspired. I think the Edwardian era needs to be more popular, it's stuck in the middle of Victorian and the Roaring 20s but really, it's the era before the war, there was so much to be happy about, people were traveling, trying so many new things.

You're right about the rich ladies and gents. They always had the high fashion first can could afford the amazing fabric.

Hi Everyone,

Something else has come to mind for animation creators for this period. An animation of a lady crossing her legs at the ankles. A woman of high standards never threw a leg over top of the other at the knee. That was a mans position. So wonderful animators out there.. Lady poses for different periods would be awesome.. Just a thought.

Michael, I was finally able to see the pic you posted. It's just funny.. laughs..and that can easily be made if you wish to put laughter on someones face.

This is a personal note to the clothing creators and those that are interested in the Edwardian era. Due to a change in my rl, it is leaving me very little time for creation. I will continue to work on pulling together outfits, but I'm afraid that it will be slow going for me. I hope that other creators take an interest in this era. It is an era that has seen so much progress and should be taught and not lost.

Thank you,
Zippidy DoDaa

Zippidy,

Thanks for letting us know. I've been a bit slow on opening Coopersville (Edwardian community) because the man who has lived with me in real life for the last 12 years died the end of August and it's taking me a bit of time to get back into things again.

I hope that everything is okay with you and that we'll see you back around when things even out for you.
