Re: A guide to Export for new Merchants and Customers
So Still a bit confused here. the TOS on items I buy fp and export states They are for use in the grid you purchase them for only, and not in any other grid..
1: Does that mean I can't use them in my builds and then sell them from that Grid ?
OR
2: you can only sell builds you use my items in on the grid you bought it for?

Re: A guide to Export for new Merchants and Customers
Hi Tamara,
Individual product TOS are defined by the merchant and the defaults, if none are defined, are as stated in the Proprietary Rights section of Kitely's TOS. Kitely's default TOS for bought items is based on the item permissions.

Your best bet is to ask the full-perm seller. Sometimes you have to explain to them how export works (If they are an SL seller especially).Tamara Isme wrote: ↑Sun Nov 18, 2018 9:33 pmSo Still a bit confused here. the TOS on items I buy fp and export states They are for use in the grid you purchase them for only, and not in any other grid..

Re: A guide to Export for new Merchants and Customers
If I were to make an object out of full perm sculpty maps(which makes it say that it is made by me) that someone else has made, and attach it to something that I have made, will it still be able to export when sold?

Re: A guide to Export for new Merchants and Customers
Hi Krissy,
Our system checks the exportability of each component included in an object you try to export. Similarly, when you try to list an item for sale in Kitely Market our system checks that you have sufficient permissions to sell each of the components included in that item.
If you aren't the creator of a component then you have to have at least Copy and Transfer permissions for it in order to be able to list it (as you're trying to create copies and transfer them to others via the marketplace).

Hi Ilan,
I guess the best thing to do if the item is in question, is to give it a test run before to much time and effort has been put into it.
Thank you for getting back to me so quickly.

YVW Krissy,
Testing ahead of time is indeed the best policy.

Re: A guide to Export for new Merchants and Customers
Not to ressurrect an old thread...if I wanted to send a Kitely product FROM Kitely Marketplace, to another one of my avatars on another grid, that DOES have a Kitely Export permission, how do I do so? I can't seem to figure it out.
Using Ruth 2.0!
