Hey hey,

today I met Min in my Harusaki Onsen. that is Japanese for spa. I wanted to give Min special gift and looked up her items on the marketplace. From there I clicked on the creators link and then clicked wish list. Doing so I was able to select an item to send to Min. Strange thing however, how do I send it, do I need to use PayPal or what? I dont see a button "send"?

Also, I didn't notice that the "avatar search field" in the shopping cart actually displays all residents when typing a few chars. Experimenting made me find it. Maybe a little question mark icon behind "avatar name" with a short explanation will do the trick;-)

Yet another question; how do we find people's wish lists from within the marketplace?

Hi Ami,

To give someone a gift, you add the items you want to gift to your shopping cart then select Gift as the Deliver To option at the top of the shopping cart. You can then select the name of the avatar in the Avatar Name part of that Deliver To section. Alternatively, you can select the Give as Gift link in their public wish list page to have that item automatically added to your shopping cart and their name entered in the Avatar Name part of the Deliver To section.

You can click people's name anywhere in our main website (i,e, not in the blog or forums) to open a popup with various options: sending that person a message, viewing their Kitely Market store, viewing their Forums profile, viewing their public wish list, etc.

Okay, I can add an item to my shopping cart, select the avie who I want to send the item to and then what? Do I need to use the PayPal button to send it? I only see Paypal button and continue shopping button. There is no "give now" button. Do I mneed to pay Real Money Processing Fee on a gift?

The options for buying an item as a gift are exactly the same as those for buying that item for yourself. If the item costs USD then you'd need to pay via PayPal. If it costs KC then you'll be able to pay using your KC balance or using PayPal (if you need to buy more KC to complete the transaction). Once you complete the transaction the items in your shopping cart will be delivered to the person you defined in the Deliver To section at the top of the shopping cart.

Wouldn't that be strange Ilan, buying stuf from myself first and then give it to someone... and pay commission over it ?
I think a button that says "give" or "send" that transfers the item straight to the avatar of your choice without paying any fee to Kitely would be much better and easier to understand.

If you want to gift your own item why not give it directly from your inventory via IM?

Hey Ilan,

Because it will be nice to explore other people's wishlist and directly send the item from within the marketplace.
Otherwise one should log into Kitely, find the person, browse inventory, send the item...
A gift "button" would be 1 step;-)
