Links in product pages

I was wondering if the rule mentioned here: http://www.kitely.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=887 was canceled. I can see several merchants include links to their webpages in product descriptions. Is it allowed now? I would like to include links into my product pages, it will be very helpful for my customers, not to click several times through my world page to my blog, to see EULA and more informations about my products.
I have tried to find here: https://kitely.atlassian.net/wiki/displ ... ely+Market but there is no such rule described, so maybe it will be helpful to mention it there, if it still valid. There are obviously merchants, who do not obey the TOS, maybe not purposly. Or there are merchants, who obey the TOS and it is not necessary now.
Both situations are not fair to somebody.

I noticed that too Zuza. Thought I had read something about it, assumed it was just me and moved on because I had other stuffs. I doubt they are doing it to purposely disobey TOS. Hopefully it's a change in TOS. The times I have seen links, they've been very helpful. Thanks for saying something.

Hi Zuza,

As stated in our TOS, except inside Virtual Worlds, you aren't allowed to use Kitely Market to specify how to obtain your items outside of Kitely or Kitely Market.

You are allowed to mention your website, etc. but not to direct people to get your items from there.

Makes sense. I think most (if not all) of the links I've seen are informational.

I'm a little confused.

So presumably links outside of Kitely, YouTube and Flickr are enabled now? In the thread that Marstol mentioned at the top, I had tried to link to the product instructions on my website, so that people can see before buying that detailed instructions are provided, but the link wasn't working because it was outside of those domains.

Am I OK to do that now?

Hi Handy,

You can provide the URL to the instructions (as AFAIK it doesn't point to directions for alternative ways to get your content outside Kitely or Kitely Market) but the URL won't become a link on the product page as it isn't to one of the preapproved domains.

As I remember, we have talked about it in some Wednesday meeting some times ago, and result was (at least for me), no other links then kitely.com, flickr and youtube. I am glad there is some detailed written and clear explanation now. Thank you.
