I got a bad review of my Windsurfer on the Marketplace. I clicked on the customer name in the review to see if I could contact them.
The URL is malformed and does not bring up the customer's profile. I tried clicking on my own name in the reply, and it has the same malformed URL that just says http:///. What is up with these links? Can they be fixed? How can I contact this customer?
So next I tried looking up the customer in my sales history. That page needs a search option! I had to upload the CSV file, convert to a spreadsheet in Libre Office and search THAT! Once I found the customer I was able to find him by date in the sales history. All the customer URLs in the sales history are malformed as well and are of no use.
The Windsurfer is currently not for sail\\\\sale for export, but way back in May I may have been experimenting with export and this guy got in under the wire. Is there any record of that?

Re: Strange review of my Windsurfer
Did you left click the name (which opens a popup menu) or did you center click it to try to open a page in a new window (which won't work)?
I'm not sure what record you are looking for. Each sale is done to a particular product listing version. If the product changed so did the internal product version listing number but how does that help you?

Re: Strange review of my Windsurfer
The review page is http://www.kitely.com/market/review/100 ... 0005046218
OK, if I right click to open a new window, I get an error from FireFox,
if I wave my cursor over the link, I see the mal-formed link http:/// in the status line of my viewer.
If I left-click after seeing a mal-formed link (viewing that status line before clicking on ANY link is good Internet security),
if I ignore my hard-won instinct and left-click on the mal-formed link, it works! It pops up the information I was looking for.

Ah, ok, Mike Hart runs his own grid and has been working on it lately. He is someone who works on scripting lots of vehicles. He can be most easily found in g+ or http://www.nextreality.info/ tho he changes things often.
He has market items http://www.kitely.com/market?q=mike+hart

Re: Strange review of my Windsurfer
Hi Kayaker,
Our entire site is a complex JavaScript application, all the UI elements that change the mouse courser to indicate that the element is clickable (usually shown as the courser turning into a hand) are designed to be left clicked. Only the elements that support opening a new browser page show that page's URL in the browser status bar. The other elements, which do not lead to a new URL, show "http:///" in the status bar.

Re: Strange review of my Windsurfer
I think this is sorted now. I have had a message from Ocean Engineering and replied to that message
I have since sent another message to them about other requirements and waiting for a reply.
I think the possible reason there was a malfunction in the URL's is that The Next Reality Grid went down and my AV UUID
had gone haywire. This has now been fixed by ilan since redoing The Next Reality Grid.

Re: Strange review of my Windsurfer
Hi Mike, if the issue is resolved it would be nice if you could amend your review of his product to reflect that. The product doesn't deserve a low rating if the problem you had with it was solved and was not originally due to the item or the merchant selling it.
