Hi Gregg,

The official instructions are listed here: https://www.kitely.com/virtual-world-ne ... merchants/

You start by creating a product listing and filling in the Product Details area. This area provides the information that is relevant for all the variations in that product listing.

Below and to the left of the Product Details area you have a list with a Variations label above it, up and down arrows to the right of it, and Add and Remove buttons below it. By default each product listing has one variation, the "Default" variation, and it is the one that is selected in the list when you first create a new product listing. You can see that variation's details to the right of the Variations list. They're listed in the Variations Details section. You use that section to define the information that is only relevant to the currently selected variation.

When you want to create additional variations you press the Add button that is located under the Variations list. This will create a new variation and automatically select it so that you'll see its information in the Variations Details area. When a variation is selected you can add the items that it contains in the Variation Items table that is located lower on the page.

You can switch between variations by selecting them in the Variations list. You can also change the order the variations will appear in the marketplace listing using the up and down arrows that are located to the right of the Variations list.

Some notes about using variations:

When listing multiple variations of the same product (such as the same product in different colors) make sure to use the Product Variations feature to list all these slight product variations in the same product listing instead of in separate ones (one Product Variation per each variation).

2) Make sure to fill in all the relevant Attribute values for your product listings. If you don't do this your products won't show up when people filter their searches based on Attribute values (such as search for Red items). If your product listing uses Product Variations you should change the relevant Attribute setting to be a Variation Attribute instead of a Product Attribute by clicking the right facing arrow next to that Attribute name. This will enable you to set a different Attribute value for each of the Product Variations in that product listing (e.g. set a different Color value for each of the variations).

3) Don't use all Caps for your product names and don't add the Color or other Attribute vale to the Product Name. Instead, set the Product Name to be the unqualified name of the product and make the Variation Name be just the thing that sets it apart from the other Product Variations in that listing. For example, set the Product Name to be "Canvas & Iron Patio Set" and set the Variation Name to be "Blue", or "Red", etc. This will result in the full name the shopper sees being "Canvas & Iron Patio Set [Blue]" or "Canvas & Iron Patio Set [Red]".

If you have a product that has only a single variation then you don't need to use the Add button under the Variations list. However, if your product listing should include multiple variations then you'll need to press the Add button for each additional variation. So, for example, if you want a product listing to have 3 variations then you'll need to press the Add button two times. After you've done so the Variations list will include 3 entries, one for each variation. You should then select the first variation in the list, enter its Variation Details, set its Variation Attributes, and add its Variation Items. Once you're done with the first variation, select the second variation in the Variations list and enter all the aforementioned information for it. Then repeat this process again for the third variation in the list.
