I know this is a basic "noob" question... but where does one go to learn how to be a merchant on Kitely Market? I've searched and searched and I know I'm probably overlooking something very obvious, but I can't find the main "How to Set up a Store" page.

Thankyewverymuch. : )

Hi Snoots,

This is the (somewhat old) tutorial that covers most of the basics: https://www.kitely.com/virtual-world-ne ... merchants/

I have a question regarding setting a listing on KM. It is in regard to this line:

"You must have Copy and Transfer permissions on all the items that you add to the product."

To me this reads: "Your product must be full perm."

So is this saying that the product has to be copy / trans... or that *I* must have copy/trans permissions on all items in order to sell it? (The second would make sense. The first, not so much.)

Thank you in advance for clarification.

Hi Snoots,

You need to have Owner Copy and Owner Transfer for the item you wish to sell because you shouldn't be able to list an item you aren't allowed to transfer and to create additional copies of. You can define what permissions your buyers will get by setting the Next Owner permissions for the items you list before you add them to the listing.

Thank you for clearing that up Ilan. I had a feeling that's what it was saying but wanted to make sure before I posted. :)

First market item coming up. Is always a SCARY experience... and I been doing this 15+ years. Mwahaahhahaa....
