Links in product descriptions.

The editor for product descriptions has buttons for linking and unlinking, and linked text looks like links with coloured text, but when I view the product the links don't work.

An example here: http://www.kitely.com/market/product/28 ... dle-system, the text "online instructions" about halfway down the description.

A bug, an intentionally disabled feature, or am I doing something wrong?

I believe that only links to pages in the kitely domain are allowed in the Kitely market product pages. You can have external links in your world description page, I believe, as long as it's not a link to a page that sells stuff.

I tried finding this in the TOS or store guidelines, but couldn't. I know we talked about this recently in the forums, but I must not be using the right search keywords. Perhaps Ilan can point us to the right places for info.

Hi Handy,

Sherrie is correct. Kitely Market only enables links to URLs in the Kitely domain, YouTube and Flickr.

You can create working links to other websites in world pages and the forums.

Please note that as per our TOS, "You agree that, except inside Virtual Worlds, you will not use Kitely Services to specify how to obtain your Items that are listed in Kitely Market outside of Kitely Services."

OK, thanks for the clarification. I completely understand the reasoning behind this, and the links are by no means essential anyway, so away they go. :)

Links to YouTube and Flickr are great to add more information about the product. From my pov it would be great to have soundcloud.com included...
The audio previews of my instruments are stored there
