Wish Lists

Hey Ilan, Oren,

I know you both are very busy but I wanted to give some feedback on the wish lists. I think I talked about this feature in the Mentors Meeting but I don't know if it was noted;-) Well, here is my idea; I am thinking of sending a message to the merchant who's product was added someone's wish list about the event. That way the merchant knows that someone is interested in his product and will be able to take action, like offer the product for a discount or get in touch with the person who is interested in the product.

Hi Amiryu,

It's an interesting idea which we'll consider implementing. However, since we're behind on our schedule due to the recent update to OpenSim 0.7.6 and all the time we needed to spend to fix the various OpenSim bugs we encountered, adding this notification isn't high on the priority list at the moment.

That said, the option to offer discounts (which will be prominently shown as discounts in the marketplace) is already on our roadmap (but not before we're done implementing all the hypergrid-related functionality we're planning).
