Support for buying and delivering products from Kitely Market to non-Kitely grids

AVATAR NOT FOUND

Went to purchase the items I wanted for the SECOND time due to moving to a new grid after a month ... but now it says I am not found on the new grid. How do I resolve this ?

Avatar not found: "Unknown" at Genesis MetaVerse.

Check that the avatar name is correct and try again.

Hi Leggs,

Please follow the following step In your Kitely Market shopping cart (don't skip any of them or do them out of order):

1) Set Deliver To to the "Other Avatar" tab.

2) Delete the avatar name from the Deliver To area.

3) Switch Deliver To to "My Kitely Avatar" then back to "Other Avatar".

4) Press the Grid Manager link and make sure the grid definition for Genesis MetaVerse matches that grid's URI. If it isn't then delete the current grid definition and add the new grid definition.

5) Close the Grid Manager window and make sure the properly defined Genesis MetaVerse grid is selected.

6) Type in your avatar name on that grid.

7) Try to checkout items from your shopping cart.

Hi Chris,

Please log into Genesis with your avatar then repeat the aforementioned steps while you remain logged into that grid. We're received some reports that doing this may help with some grids.

Hi!
I'm having the same problem when trying to deliver Kitely Market items to my avatar on Craft World.
The message I get is always the same:
Avatar not found: "Camie Rembrandt" at Craft World.
Check that the avatar name is correct and try again.

I've tried doing everything you suggested on this thread.
I've even tried purchasing the item while in-world on Craft World and on Kitely at the same time using two different viewers.
Unfortunately nothing worked.
Any suggestions?

Hi Camie,

There is no need to be inworld in Kitely to deliver an item to an avatar belonging to another grid. What you need to do is only to be inworld with your target avatar in its own grid.

Have you tried teleporting with your Craft World avatar into the Kitely Welcome Center to see whether that works?

Same for me. I was trying to send to my Avatar on Planet Concourse grid. Nothing worked.

Hi Carol,

Have you added Planet Concourse to the Grid Manager in your Kitely Market shopping cart? If so, what is the grid URI you used?

Life Happened. OK....so, I used grid.planetconcourse.com:8002 AFTER I used http://grid.planetconcourse.com:8002 & http://grid.planetconcourse.com:8002/ - none functioned to add the grid to the gridmanager list. I followed the instructions several times to include clearing cache--(just to be sure of course). Any ideas?

Is Planet Concourse Hypergrid enabled?

Are you able to teleport with your avatar from Planet Concourse into the Kitely Welcome Center? grid.kitely.com:8002
