When you buy items from Kitely Market and deliver using the Hypergrid, you might see this error in the viewer: "Can't find item to give. Nothing given."

This happens because of a bug in OpenSim, which was fixed in Opensim 0.7.6. Therefore, only simulators that run earlier versions will encounter this error. That includes OpenSim 0.7.5 and below, and also OpenSim 0.7.6 Dev.

Fortunately, this error isn't critical. The item was added to your inventory; you just can't see it yet. If you restart the viewer then the item will appear in your inventory, either in the folder Objects or in the folder My Suitcase > Objects. In the worst case, you may need to clear the viewer cache or switch viewers in order to see the item. (If you do all that and you still don't see the item then contact Kitely.)

If you want to know if your region suffers from this problem then check its version number by selecting in the menu: Help > About. For example, this is the version number of the region "Elsa" on GermanGrid:

Since this region is running version "OpenSim 0.7.6 Dev", it suffers from the bug described in this post.

Eventually, as regions throughout the hypergrid are updated, fewer and fewer people will encounter this problem.
