Issue getting notecard

Hi,

I have seen you fix this issue for a few AVs on this forum.

Trying the register my AV with Kitely Market. Getting:

We couldn't send a notecard to JP Susa @ AlariaLand. Make sure that the avatar is online and in its home grid. Also, make sure that the grid is open to the Hypergrid, and its firewall allows access from the outside.

My address is AlariaLand.Outworldz.net:8002

We have two AVs with the identical issue:
JP Susa
Alaria Ferraris

No problems hypergridding, including to : http://grid.kitely.com:8002

Can you do that magic AV reset thing for us to?

Hi Gruden,

Your grid's GatekeeperURI is currently set to an IP instead of to your grid's GridURI like the rest of your grid's services.

Please correct that then let me know once it's done.

Once you're ready. remove the grid definition from your Kitely Market shopping cart, clear the avatar name, redefine the grid in the shopping cart's grid manager, type back the name of the avatar then try ordering.

(Please don't forget to restart your grid before doing this so the updated grid settings will be used)

I went throught the page that you sent me to regarding setup of Kitely for non-HG grids. Am I reviewing the right fix?

- Setup for alarialand.outworldz.net:8002 is configured and working as a HG grid, and I would absolutely like for that to continue to work.
- I don't see any direct reference to the gatekeeper URL you are telling me is my Kitely Market access problem. I do see the login service address references, many of which already exist in my config.

While I do want to be able to use Kitely Market, I'm concerned that if I implement these instructions as shown to my working Robust.ini my AV will never see the outside word again.

You don't need to change any other service URI, they are all properly configured already. You just need to change the Gatekeeper URI to match the same value you used for all the other services. The article I linked to explains where that Gatekeeper URI is located for non-HG enabled grids.

For HG-enabled grids you need to configure this file:
