My Avatar name changed

Hi,
something very odd today is happening. I was trying to take a copy of something I made and it said I did not have permission. I thought"hmm, why not" and looked at the general tab and saw that I did not make it, not under my name "Karima Hoisan" but under another avatar named "Karima HoiBabii" When I looked at "the creator's profile" it was my own, but with the name Karima HoiBabii. What is happening? Please fix it as I can't do much here now.

Hi Karima,

Please try accessing Kitely with a different viewer to verify that this isn't some viewer cache related problem.

I could log in with Firestorm and it was my correct name now, but "cache problem" seems unlikely as I haver never used this name in my life, so how could it be in my cache? In SL and KItely I am always Karima Hoisan. I will try again in Singularity, which is my preferred viewer to create in. I will clear the Singularity cache and try again.

Actually, I tried Singularity now without clearing cache, and it was also correct in my profile. I did clear it anyway just now. This is very odd, and has never happened to me before, in any viewer. I am glad it is working again, for whatever reason.

Maybe there is a user with that name inSL with the same UUID your avatar has in Kitely. It's very unlikely but that could explain how that profile could have gotten to your viewer.

I have some info that might be relevant. If you tell Firestorm to use web profiles, it apparently looks in the SL profiles. I noted that when I searched for someone I knew I got someone of the same name who was definitely not the person I knew and the profile said:
Second Life Birthdate
June 05, 2006

I have not verified that fetching the SL info happens reliably. It happened just now, when I checked the same name again.

Actually I did do that. Looked first in Kitely and then SL. There is no one of that name. Still wondering how that could be?
