I created a group just the other day but now it's gone, spent 100 KC for nothing, why is that ?

When you create a new group inworld you are notified that it will be deleted if doesn't have at least two members within 48 hours. This is the same rule that applies in Second Life. It exists in order to prevent people from just hording good group names.

Like in sl? I received no notification at all

When you create a new group you get this confirmation dialog:
Are you saying you didn't get that? What viewer and version were you using when you created the group?

ahh this one, np, my fault then, thank you for the assistance, I thought that function was disabled in Opensim

We implemented it here after we saw several people trying to horde many group names using multiple alts.

dammit :-p np 100 kc wasted ,I'll be more careful next time
