Yes, you can change your username and even switch from using Facebook for logins to using Twitter and/or the email/password option.
To do so, send me an email or private forum message with the details of your request:
- What login option you wish to use
- What username you'd like to have

I am thinking of doing the same thing. Will permissions in-world change with the name? ie how will this affect stuff I have created already under a different name?

Hi Steven,
When we change the Kitely account username we rename the avatar name as well so previously created items get the new avatar name as the creator. Please note that some viewers cache the old avatar name so they'll need to clear their cache before they see the new name instead of the old one.
World page URLs will retain the old username until you rename those worlds (change their name to some temp name then change them back to get the URL to reflect the new username).
