Okay, I know this is very basic, but I'll be darned if I can find the answer! lol
How do you know how much a world will charge you to visit--before you visit???

Re: Cost for Visiting a World?
Hi Sierra,
The default, which you should assume when visiting new worlds, is that worlds charge Minutes from your monthly plan quota. If you view a World Page and don't see anything listed below the Enter World button then the world charges Minutes. If the world is free to access, i.e. doesn't cost you Minutes or Kitely Credits, then the label "FREE" will appear below the world's Enter World button. If the world manager set a charge for accessing the world then that extra cost will appear below the Enter World button. For example, if you see "1 KC / minute" then the world costs you Minutes (paid to Kitely) and Kitely Credits (paid to the world manager minus a 10% Kitely fee).
When teleporting from inside the viewer you won't get any indication if a world is free or charges Minutes but you will get an indication if you are about to teleport to a world that is set up to charge you Kitely Credits. The teleport attempt will fail and you will be notified of the cost and instructed to start the teleport again if you accept it.

and your right...and I take every opportunity I can to mention this aspect to people.
The blending of commercialism with free opensim facets is the thing that has gotten me so interested in this grid.

Thanks, Ilan. That's a very clear explanation.Ilan Tochner wrote:Hi Sierra,
