March seems to be an interesting month.
March 10-15th 2014 is Open Education Week. http://www.openeducationweek.org/
March 22nd is World Water Day. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Water_Day
It's probably too late to do anything about it inworld for this year but I'd like to suggest that we think about running events in support of good causes in March 2015. As a microbiologist and educator these two resonate with me. Of course, you may have better ideas -- if so, please share.
